dowstudio Dowstudio Showroom begins its fifth season on June 10th with The Cup Show. Over fifty nationally recognized guest artists working in assemblage, clay,fiber, glass,metal, mixed media, and paintings will be represented.
This year, we are delighted that Shipwreck Coffee Brewing Company, a family-owned company in Downeast Maine, will be roasting a special blend only available at Dowstudio for the Cup Show.

Dowstudio opens its doors on June 10th at 2pm . Freshly brewed Shipwreck coffee will be served as guests enjoy and view the many and varied interpretations of THE CUP.

dowstudio showroom was established in 2003. Carole Ann Fer moved from Cambridge, Ma where she had an established pottery and taught ceramics. Her move to Deer Isle was motivated by a quality of life change and a need to leave the city. She had the vision for a gallery that would include monthly theme shows and draw on her participation in the world of craft over her 20 years of being a potter and gallery owner.She is excited to open her doors to a variety of mediums and interpretations of materials.
